Hellerick’s Adventure Farm Celebrates Seven Generations with New Attractions
Hellerick’s Adventure Farm in Doylestown is filled with attractions that make it the perfect adventure destination for the entire family in the fall, reports Timothy Walton for 6abc.
The family farm dates back to 1785.
“My brother and I are the seventh generation of the same family to own this property,” said Paul Hellerick, owner of Hellerick’s Adventure Farm. “This will always be open land, forever.”
The 30-acre property is an agritourism haven that offers many fun activities and sites, including a 40-foot adventure course with ziplines and bridges, a five-acre sunflower garden with around 30 varieties of sunflowers, and a five-acre wildflower space planted in honor of the family matriarch. Meanwhile, the popular corn maze has a different theme every year.
Visitors can hop on a hayride to take a tour of the farm and browse a variety of pumpkins, gourds, and squashes to buy for home. The property also has an area with farm animals that you can hang out with or even indulge in a yoga session with some goats.
This year has several new additions, including miniature golf and soft serve ice cream.
