Lower Makefield Native Hallie Jackson Assumes New Role as NBC Sunday Nightly News Anchor

Pennsbury High School graduate Hallie Jackson will soon join the NBC Nightly News team as the Sunday anchor.

Pennsbury High School graduate Hallie Jackson will soon join the NBC Nightly News team as the Sunday anchor, writes Damon C. Williams for the Bucks County Courier Times.  

Jackson, who grew up in Lower Makefield, has always dreamt of being a newscaster. During her time at Pennsbury, Jackson found herself inspired by 6 ABC.  

She earned a political science degree from Johns Hopkins University and once interned at a T.V. station in New York City during her undergraduate studies.  

Prior to her new gig, Jackson was the network’s White House Correspondent for the Trump administration and traveled with the former president on international trips. 

Additionally, she anchored MSNBC Reports with Hallie Jackson. Her new role will start April 7 on the nightly show that airs at 6:30 PM. She will also continue to anchor on Hallie Jackson NOW weekdays from 5 to 7 PM.
