These Bucks County Zip Codes are the Wealthiest Communities in the Philadelphia Area

The World Atlas has named two Bucks County towns the most walkable in Pennsylvania, due to their access to cultural hubs and museums.

Some of the wealthiest communities in the Philadelphia area have Bucks County zip codes, according to a report by Todd Romero from the Philadelphia Business Journal.  

The report was based on data from the U.S. Census Bureau across nine counties spanning the Philadelphia region in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware.  

Richboro, Furlong, Doylestown, and Washington Crossing ranked among the top five townships with the highest homeownership rates at over 92 percent.  

Furlong also made no. 6 on this list of wealthiest zip codes with $260,412 as the average household income.  

Washington Crossing secured the 10th spot with an impressive average household income of $243,174. Close on its heels, New Hope landed at the 13th position, boasting an average income of $224,493. 

Not far behind, Doylestown came in at 15th place, with households averaging $221,669 in income. Following suit, Newtown ranked 20th, with its average household income reaching $212,595.
