The Foundry, a trendy co-working space in Doylestown is expanding its headquarters into the first floor at 95 West Court Street in Doylestown Borough, writes Jeff Werner for Patch.
The expansion doubles the space for entrepreneurs who now use the building that was formerly a 19th Century horse carriage construction and repair business known as The Saddlery.
The expansion adds three private offices, a larger conference room, and three more parking spaces, all handicap accessible.
Move-in is set to begin on October 1.
“The Foundry is thrilled about this expansion, as it allows us to continue to widen our impact and grow within the community,” says Ashley Muir, Foundry owner.
Since 2016, the Foundry has created a space that nurtures entrepreneurs and builds a hub for professionals to prosper.
Founded by Muir, a local creative professional and brand designer, The Foundry encourages diverse thinkers in a professional but laid-back environment that allow them to connect, collaborate and grow.
It is home to local businesses Brown Dog Design, Wldfyr, All Systems Go AV, DTown Web, and IP Works, among others,
Muir said the new space will strengthen the collaborative spirit that defines the Foundry.
