A rumor is spreading that the 34-year-old singer-songwriter and self-made billionaire Taylor Swift may have bought a home in Doylestown in August, writes Michele Haddon Jo Ciavaglia for the Bucks County Courier Times.
The supposed property in Plumstead Township was sold on Aug. 9 for $12.9 million. However, county property records still do not list the new owner.
A few clues can be gathered from public documents filed in connection with the sale about who the buyer is, outside of knowing that it was somebody with a lot of money.
The records show that the property was purchased by Good Pointe LLC.
Good Pointe LLC was registered on July 30 in Delaware as a foreign Limited Liability Company, according to the Pennsylvania Department of State.
No names are listed for company officers, but a phone number listed for the entity has an area code that covers the Nashville metropolitan areas and surrounding counties, where Swift – a Berks County native with deep Montgomery County roots – has a penthouse.
But as fun as the rumor is to contemplate, sources told the USA Today Network earlier this week that Swift did not buy the sprawling 100-acre property with a 12,791-square-foot house.
