Quakertown’s Sabrina Carpenter Buys Mediterranean-Style Home in Hollywood Hills
Quakertown native Sabrina Carpenter, the Disney actress-turned-pop star, bought a 1920s Mediterranean-style home in the Hollywood Hills for $4.4 million, writes James McClain for the Robb Report.
Carpenter has been traveling the globe lately, as she opens for Taylor Swift on the singer’s record-breaking Eras tour.
The home has been recently renovated by the House of Rolison design/build duo Taylor Hahn and Amanda Leigh, who purchased the property nine months ago for $2.3 million. They then proceeded to inject chic modernity into the somewhat dated spaces by installing top-quality materials.
The house now boasts wide plank oak floors and vaulted oak ceilings, as well as bespoke fixtures brought all the way from Italy and vintage Spanish Revival-style lighting.
Arched windows with striking views, a wet bar with seating for two, four ensuite bedrooms, and a decadent new kitchen are among the other highlights.
The home is nestled on a half-acre of land, which is a rarity in the tightly packed Hollywood Hills. Despite the steep slope, House of Rolison managed to create a terraced garden populated with lush native plantings and young olive trees.
Meanwhile, a huge fountain with splashing water provides a more Mediterranean vibe.
