These six Bucks County spots offer a chance to get your pumpkins straight off the vine and enjoy other fun fall activities.

Pumpkins are the quintessential symbol of fall and it is always more fun to get your own straight off the vine instead of the grocery store, writes Hira Qureshi for The Philadelphia Inquirer

Several Bucks County spots offer you a chance to do just that, along with other popular fall activities.

At Bountiful Acres Garden Center in Holicong, you can pick your pumpkin during the Pumpkin Harvest Festival. There is also a two-acre corn maze, hayride, and much more to enjoy.

Charlann Farm in Yardley offers many fun activities during the Fall Festival, including a sandbox filled with loose corn to play in, pumpkin bowling, and a straw maze.

At Hellerick’s Family Farm in Doylestown, you can enjoy hayrides, corn mazes, farm animals, and more during the Fall Festival/Adventure Farm.

FallFest at Shady Brook Farm in Yardley offers a full day of activities, including wagon rides to pick pumpkins.

Snipes Farm & Education Center in Morrisville lets you pick a perfect pumpkin from the patch and explore the Land of Scarecrows, among many activities.

Finally, at Styer Orchard in Langhorne, admission and hayrides are free. You only pay for what you pick, be it pumpkins or apples.
