As high school football season kicks off on August 23, the spotlight is on the top defensive linemen in Bucks County.

As high school football season kicks off on August 23, the spotlight is on the top defensive linemen in Bucks County, who are expected to dominate the trenches and stifle opposing offense, writes Drew Markol for the Bucks County Courier Times.  

Sincer Fairey from Conwell-Egan stands out as a first-team Philadelphia Catholic League Blue Division selection, having achieved double-digit sacks for the past two seasons. His versatility is showcased by his performance as a standout running back, making him a dual threat on the field. 

Ed Bowen of Central Bucks South also commands attention. As a first-team Suburban One League National Conference selection, he recorded 3.5 sacks, 9.5 tackles for loss, and 49 tackles as a junior, demonstrating his consistent performance and key role in his team’s defense. 

Shakur Dismukes from Morrisville, a first-team Bicentennial Athletic League pick, led the Bulldogs in tackles. His leadership and defensive skills are vital for his team’s performance and success. 

Finally, Jaden George of Bensalem, a first-team Suburban One League Continental Conference choice, has been a key player since his freshman year.  

These standout defensive linemen are set to showcase their skills and determination on the field, leading their teams to success in the 2024 football season.
