Harcum College’s 2016 Graduate Mihailo Vasic Competes in the Paris Olympics
Mihailo Vasic ’16 is competing in the Olympics in Paris. This is his second appearance in the 3×3 basketball competition, representing his home country of Serbia. In 2021, he brought home a bronze medal, becoming the first Harcum athlete to medal in the Olympic games.
The Serbian team has been the gold standard in 3×3 basketball, achieving numerous accolades with the current squad over the past few seasons, including back-to-back World Cup golds in 2022 and 2023.
Vasic has been playing for Liman, considered the world’s number one 3×3 basketball team, in Serbia for several years. After obtaining his associate’s degree from Harcum, he completed his undergraduate degree while playing for New Haven, graduating in 2018.
Serbia played the United States on Tuesday, Jul. 30, at 4:35 PM and China on Wednesday, Jul. 31, at 1:05 PM.
