A Bucks County town is among the top twenty-five best suburbs in the Philadelphia area, according to Stacker.

A Bucks County town is among the top twenty-five best suburbs in the Philadelphia area, according to Stacker.  

The ranking was based on data from Niche and included several factors, such as cost of living, school quality, and diversity.  

Buckingham Township ranked at no. 24 on the list for its education and availability of outdoor activities. Several nearby schools were ranked an A+ on Niche, including Central Bucks High School – East and West, Linden Elementary School, Gwynedd Mercy Academy (grade A) Solebury School, and George School.  

With a population of over 20,000, the median home value is $644,300. The township boasts rich soil and an abundance of registered historic landmarks including the Buckingham Friends Meetinghouse, various farms, and historical districts.  

The township is also home to various creeks, the Buckingham Cave, Buckingham Mountain, and Flatiron Hill. The natural features of the township have earned Buckingham an A+ on Niche for outdoor activities.  

Other nearby towns that made the list include Spring House (no. 23), Narberth (no. 21), and Conshohocken (no. 7).
