Amazon Fresh has officially opened its doors in Bensalem, attracting a large crowd, writes Jo Ciavaglia for the Bucks County Courier Times.  

Located at the Brookwood Shopping Center, the high-tech supermarket launched on August 22, following years of anticipation and rumors. 

The grand opening featured a ribbon-cutting ceremony, a $10,000 donation to Philabundance, and exciting giveaways, including $500 in groceries and exclusive Amazon gift cards for the first 100 customers. Shoppers were also treated to a $5 off $25 coupon and free Bensalem-branded totes. 

The Bensalem store, previously dubbed a “zombie store” due to its prolonged construction, is now fully operational.  

Another Amazon Fresh location is rumored to open soon in Middletown.
