Nine teams made it to the PIAA state semifinals, while seven played for the state title in softball, baseball, and lacrosse. During the playoffs, many local players got a chance to fully showcase their abilities.

Lexi Waring, a Council Rock South softball standout, was sensational in the circle, leading her team to the PIAA state championship game. She gave up only one run in four PIAA games while pitching 27 innings with 10 hits and 7 walks allowed.

Holy Ghost Prep junior Mat Riendeau provided his team with its first-ever baseball state championship by delivering the game-winning hit when he doubled in the bottom of the seventh inning for the Firebirds’ 6-5 walk-off win against Indiana.
