Bucks County Classic will once again inspire kids to hop on their bikes with the return of Wheelie Wednesdays to Doylestown Borough this summer, writes Jeff Werner for the Patch.

Wheelie Wednesdays are presented by the Marshall Financial Group. It offers a series of free kids cycling programs aimed at getting children to ride, and increase the skills and boost the confidence of those already riding.

“For over 40 years, Marshall Financial has actively supported the well-being of the Bucks County community,” said Paula Nangle, CFP at Marshall Financial Group. “As the presenting sponsor of Wheelie Wednesdays, we aim to inspire a love of cycling in the younger generation, promote healthy, active lifestyles, and most importantly, have fun!”

Wheelie Wednesdays starts on July 24 with “Learn To Ride.” Young bicyclists will be taught by Doylestown Bike Works, Central Bucks Bicycle Club, and Team OX professionals and volunteers.

The program will continue on August 7 with a bike rodeo. Using games and obstacles, kids will be taught how to dial in their riding skills by members of the local club Watts and Whiskey.

Finally, Wheelie Wednesdays will conclude on August 21 with skills and drills. Read more about Wheelie Wednesdays in the Patch.
