Two Bucks County Towns Named Among Most Walkable in Pennsylvania 

The World Atlas has named two Bucks County towns the most walkable in Pennsylvania, due to their access to cultural hubs and museums.

The World Atlas has named two Bucks County towns the most walkable in Pennsylvania, writes Jeff Werner for the Patch.  

Doylestown, ranking second on the list just behind Easton, is praised for its vibrant nightlife, historic mansions, and world-class museums. 

The downtown area, recognized as a “Distinctive Destination” by the National Trust for Historic Preservation, features a remodeled art deco theatre known as the County Theater. 

New Hope, ranking fourth, is celebrated for its eclectic cultural scene, theatre, and vintage mansions like the Parry Mansion, which includes furnishings from the 1800s.  

The town’s walkability is enhanced by its proximity to Delaware Canal State Park and Towpath, and it features the historic Bucks County Playhouse.  

Other towns making the list include Easton, York, Ambler, New Castle, Lewisburg, Lititz, and New Oxford.
