Conshohocken-based Hamilton Lane is continuing its rapid growth and plans to open a Center City office at One Logan Square to supplement its relatively new Montgomery County headquarters, writes Jeff Blumenthal for the Philadelphia Business Journal.

The firm has already signed an eight-and-a-half year lease for roughly 8,000-square-foot on the 24th floor of the building at 130 N. 18th Street owned by the Brandywine Realty Trust. In addition to offices, the firm will have conference space at One Logan.

Hamilton Lane is expected to move there in September.

According to the firm’s co-CEO Erik Hirsch, the new space is partly a nod to Hamilton Lane turning into more of an international firm, with 14 of its 21 offices overseas.

“If you’re coming to visit us from Seoul, Korea, you’re focused on New York,” said Hirsch. “So Philadelphia is already a little bit of ‘Hey, come see us down here.’ And what we have found is that from an experiential standpoint, being able to show off Philly — which we’re very proud of being in this region — gives us restaurant choices and hotel choices and cultural pieces that they want to come and see…”
