Our Lady of Grace Catholic School (OLG) in Penndel has been awarded a $21,000 grant from the Pennsylvania Department of Education.

Our Lady of Grace Catholic School (OLG) in Penndel has been awarded a $21,000 grant from the Pennsylvania Department of Education, according to The Reporter.

This funding will be dedicated to enhancing safety and communication across the school. 

The grant will allow OLG to significantly improve its communication systems, ensuring efficient and effective interaction between students, staff, and guardians. 

OLG has consistently prioritized security improvements, and this grant will further bolster these efforts by replacing the current PA system. The School Safety and Security Grants Program, established in 2018, aims to help schools across Pennsylvania enhance safety measures. 

Founded in 1923, OLG serves students in Pre-K through 8th grade.  

The school was recently recognized as 2023’s Best Elementary School and a finalist for Best Preschool on Bucks Happening’s List
