Kin Wellness and Support Center Unveils New Labyrinth for Cancer Patients in Buckingham
The Kin Wellness and Support Center, a cornerstone for cancer care in Bucks County, has launched a new labyrinth in Buckingham, according to Tapinto Doylestown.
Situated at 2325 Heritage Center Drive, the labyrinth is designed to be accessible, featuring four wide and flat paths that accommodate wheelchairs and walkers.
Kristina Fenimore, the Director of Kin, highlights that the labyrinth is part of a broader initiative to reduce stress and anxiety among clients through meditative walking sessions and other wellness programs.
The center plans to integrate these sessions into their existing suite of services, which includes nutrition, yoga, and various supportive therapies.
Kin will also host events in this serene space, with the first scheduled for the next full moon on June 21. While the labyrinth primarily serves Kin’s patients and their families, it is open to the entire community.
This new facility honors the memory of Corinne Sikora, a local resident whose battle with cancer inspired the founding of Kin’s free supportive programs.
