Middletown-based Deluca Homes will be spearheading this 180 housing-unit project. It encompasses 24-unit apartment buildings, two eight-unit flat buildings, four-unit quad buildings, two 10-unit flat buildings, a clubhouse, and a swimming pool.

The homes will have a starting price in the mid-$300,000 range and go to $499,000.

The development on the former John Fitch Elementary School site includes upgrades to the Firefighters and EMT Park on Scholar Lane and the park will be reduced to one acre and see a new play structure.

In addition to the Villas at Greenbrook, developer John McGrath purchased the former sites of Abraham Lincoln Elementary School and George Washington Elementary School.

Projects on the Lincoln site is expected to move forward in the council next.
