Saint Rocco’s Treats in Pipersville was founded by two brothers who come from a legacy of dog treat industry professionals, reports Bob Kelly for Fox 29 Philadelphia.

But it was the brothers’ precious pup that motivated the duo to take the plunge and start their own gourmet dog treat company.

“We looked at our dog Cooper, and we [decided] to make the best dog treats possible,” said co-owner Kolby Bush.

“He is one spoiled puppy,” added brother and co-owner Kaleb Bush.

The Pipersville store is named after Rocco, the patron saint of dogs. “His story is symbolic to us and our mission of prioritizing the happiness and healthiness of dogs,” said Kolby.

At first, the brothers started giving out their homemade treats to friends and family after getting a “paws up” review from Cooper.

The store’s easy to make recipes for sale include meat-lover, cheeseburger, and salmon.

They are all baked fresh daily in-house and even humans can have a taste of delicious doggy treats too.
