Local Kid-Friendly Activities To Enjoy From March 22 – 24

With Spring’s arrival, several area attractions are officially opening their doors for the 2024 season!

New Jersey’s charming family theme park, Storybook Land, and Hellerick’s Family Farm’s high-flying Aerial Adventure Park in Doylestown will begin welcoming guests on Saturday.

Diggerland USA, Six Flags Great Adventure, and TreeTrails Adventures Trevose are also open for the season, and ready for family fun!

Row at a leisurely pace on the tranquil D&R Canal for one or two hours, or participate in a full-day adventure exploring Carnegie Lake.

Pack a change of clothes to complete the day trip with a stroll on Nassau Street, and the Princeton University campus.

Disney On Ice

Newtown Theatre, Diggery Dinosaur

Sunday, March 24 from 4pm – 5:30pm

Dinosaur fans will enjoy a memorable afternoon at the historic Newtown Theatre! Best for ages pre-k through 4th graders, children will embark on a time travel adventure with a paleontologist, who will need kids’ help to prevent the prehistoric animals from coming back to life! Seating is general admission, and doors open at 3pm.

Michaels, Kids Club, Various retail store locations

Saturday, March 23 from 10am – 12pm

Locate your nearest Michaels store, and hop on down to participate in the free arts and crafts activity at Kids Club. Each child will create beautiful egg bunnies with a variety of essential supplies provided at this in-store event.

A fun opportunity to create handmade decorations for next week’s celebrations!
