Sesame Place in Langhorne will open a new shaded play area that will feature rest areas for adults along with newly installed playground equipment where their youngest family members can play, writes Peg Quann for the Bucks County Courier Times.

The 123 Playground will have you counting all of the delightful ways to climb, hop, and play at this imaginative and colorful play area, located just across from the iconic Sesame Street Neighborhood,” announced the park on its website.

At the new attraction, “adults can relax and recharge, seated under the garden-inspired shading greenery while children enjoy classic playground elements including slides, interactive panels, and soft play mounds,” wrote the Sesame Place.

The area will be surrounded by Sesame Street friends-modeled topiaries and blooming flowerbeds. The attraction will be central to the park and will offer easy access to dining and shopping locations.

The new play area will be located at the site previously occupied by the Sunny Day Carousel. Meanwhile, the popular merry-go-round will be renovated and relocated to the center of Sesame Plaza.
