The Newtown Rotary Club and Montgomery County’s Bomb Disposal Unit are joining forces to make Easter a fun holiday for everyone, writes Jeff Werner for The Patch.

At the annual Easter Egg Hunt on March 23 at Goodnoe Elementary School, the Unit will be bringing “beeping eggs” for those who are blind or visually impaired.

The egg hunt will begin at 9:15 AM and be divided into age categories starting from the youngest to oldest. Each age group will have a “Golden Egg” prize valued at $75.

Parents of children who are blind or visually impaired must reach out to egg hunt organizer Paul Salvatore by March 20.
