Newtown Artesian Water Company is aiming to significantly upgrade its battle against hazardous contaminants from the water supply.

The proposal will be reviewed by the Newtown Township Planning Commission at 7 PM on March 19.

This initiative underscores a critical response to PFOS and PFOA — notorious contaminants detected across Bucks and Montgomery Counties

The planned expansion across from Goodnoe Elementary School aims to bolster the facility’s infrastructure and introduce advanced filtration technologies designed to purge the water supply of the chemicals.

The Newtown Artesian Water Company’s project seeks zoning relief to fulfill its vision, including exceptions for building height and property setbacks.
