Several local schools make the top of the list, ranking as the best of the best.

The new ranking of the best public high schools in Bucks County is out, and several have come out at the top of the list, writes Cecilia Levine for the Daily Voice.

Niche based its ranking on an analysis of key statistics using data from the U.S. Department of Education as well as reviews provided by students and parents. The factors that were considered include state test scores, college readiness, graduation rates, and SAT/ACT scores, along with teacher quality and high school ratings.

Central Bucks High School East ranked in first place with an overall grade of A+, the same grade that was given to all top five schools. The school also received an A+ in Academics but it ranked lowest in Diversity, where it received a C+ grade.

Next on the list is Central Bucks High School West, followed by Central Bucks High School South in third place.

New Hope-Solebury High School ranked fourth. The list is rounded out by Council Rock High School North in fifth place.
