The African American Museum of Bucks County will hold a Valentine’s Day-themed fundraiser at Parx Casino and Racetrack on February 9.

The musical tribute will honor the legendary Luther Vandross and include performances, dancing, and special guests, all in an ambiance steeped in romance.

The guests will get a chance to enjoy the timeless hits of Luther Vandross as performed by Philadelphia-based, renowned vocalist Jeff Murrell and the band. Kim Sledge of the iconic pop group Sister Sledge will make a special guest appearance.

“We’re ecstatic to present this tribute concert to Luther Vandross – a musical luminary whose songs continue to resonate deeply within our hearts,” said Linda Salley, President and Executive Director of the African American Museum of Bucks County.

The event is sponsored in part by Parx Casino.

“Parx is proud to help sponsor the museum as an important legacy and asset to the Bucks County Community,” said Parx Director of Diversity and Community Development, Ron Davis.

The Valentine’s Day-themed fundraiser will be hosted by Donald Schuler Jr. Tickets are priced at $150 per person and will include a $25 slot voucher for Parx Casino’s slot machines.
