Quakertown wrestler Mason Ziegler made history by becoming the first athlete from his school to win four district titles at the PIAA District One East Class 3A, writes Drew Markol at the Bucks County Courier Times.

The seniors dominated the competition with a decisive 13-5 victory over Pennridge’s Cole Coffin.

On the same day, Pennsbury senior Ben Primich clinched the district title by besting Abington’s Dylan Kiesling with a score of 9-1.

The tournament also highlighted the achievements of other wrestlers, including Council Rock South’s junior Gavin Cole and senior Bek Sadriddinov, who each won their weight classes, contributing to their team’s overall victory with 239 points.

The top performers from this event are set to advance to the regionals at Oxford High, with aspirations to qualify for the prestigious PIAA Class 3A tournament in Hershey.

The competition promises to be fierce as wrestlers from across the district vie for the chance to compete at the state level.
