Internationally known writer, speaker, and founder of Nonprofit AF, Vu Le comes to Bucks County on March 20 discussing nonprofits’ collective impact during FCP’s special event at Bucks County Community College in Newtown.

Foundations Community Partnership welcomes internationally known writer, speaker, and founder of Nonprofit AF, Vu Le, to Bucks County on March 20.

Le will be speaking at Bucks County Community College’s Zlock Performing Arts Center in Newtown from 8:45 to 11:15 a.m.

Le’s keynote address will discuss nonprofits’ collective impact. It is supported by Comcast (Presenting Sponsor), Penn Community Bank (Networking Sponsor), and the Bucks County Herald (Media Sponsor).

“Known for his no-BS approach and irreverent sense of humor, we are thrilled to bring a thought leader like Vu to Bucks County to share his unique insights and observations,” said Dr. Tobi Bruhn, FCP’s CEO. “This is an excellent and affordable professional development opportunity for social impact leaders and their teams, board members, and everybody who seeks inspiration during challenging times in the non-profit sector.”

Vu’s passion for making the world better, combined with a low score on the Law School Admission Test, drove him into the field of non-profit work, where he learned that we should take the work seriously, but not ourselves.

Prior to Nonprofit AF, he served as the executive director of RVC, a nonprofit in Seattle that promotes social justice by developing leaders of color, strengthening organizations led by communities of color, and fostering collaboration among diverse communities.

In addition to his hundreds of speaking engagements, Vu shares his thoughts and documents the humor that exists in the non-profit world via weekly blog posts on his Nonprofit AF website at www.nonprofitaf.com.

Vu’s conversation with the regional non-profit community is part of #FCPresents, a series launched by FCP in 2022 to strengthen the sector by inviting thought leaders to share their expertise.

Tickets to this talk on nonprofit’s collective impact are $25 per person.
