Middle Bucks Institute of Technology Students Shine with 49 Medals in SkillsUSA Competitions

Jamison-based Middle Bucks Institute of Technology is boasting of nearly fifty accolades won by students throughout January and February.

Jamison-based Middle Bucks Institute of Technology is boasting of nearly 50 accolades won by students throughout January and February according to a staff report for TapintoDoylestown.  

Sixty-six MBIT students participated in the district-wide 2024 SkillsUSA Competition, which allows students to compete based on technical and leadership skills.  

Out of the 49 competitions, students earned 21 gold medals, 18 silver, and 10 bronze. Students winning the gold medals will head to the SkillsUSA State Competition in Hershey in April.  

Students competed and won in categories including welding fabrication, medical math, cosmetology, culinary arts, construction, web design, wiring, industrial motor control, and dental assisting.
