Cannavision Institute Aims to Professionalize a Workforce for Cannabis Industry, Seeks Admissions Advisor
Cannavision Institute, a division of Stautzenberger College established in 1926, is dedicated to professionalizing and enabling a global workforce for the $36 billion legalized cannabis industry. Based in New Hope, this position is responsible for all phases of the admissions process, from initial contact through enrollment. Reporting to the Director of Admissions, the Admissions Advisor steers prospective students through the admissions lifecycle, starting their journey in cannabis. Cannavision Institute learns about candidates as individuals and their career goals to recruit, assess fit, and enroll in five unique degree and diploma programs. Then, it strives to support them in any way it can, encouraging them to make a difference in the industry.
The Admissions Advisor will utilize Cannavision’s enterprise, student-centered approach as a prospect’s first point of contact and guide them through the admissions process. He/she delivers personalized, superior, branded communications through video, phone, email, and text; promotes Cannavision Institute’s culture of compliance and carefully follows the compliance, regulatory, and procedural processes; and participates in open houses, recruitment events, school events, and industry events.
The ideal candidate will possess three to five years of admissions experience, or equivalent higher education experience that translates, with a proven track of achieving individual and overall school goals. He/she should have a deep appreciation for education, a desire to never stop learning, and the flexibility to work evening and weekend shifts as necessary.
