If you are unsure what to do this Valentine’s Day, you can visit one of the two Bucks County towns that are among the top 20 most romantic getaways in Pennsylvania, writes Amanda Norcross for the U.S. News & World Report.

Doylestown is an ideal romantic spot filled with history and bucolic scenery. One of the must-visit places is Fonthill Castle, which was built in the 20th century by archaeologist and scholar Henry Chapman Mercer.

Here couples will also find unique shops, art galleries, and a lovely preserved movie theater while strolling through town. Among many dining options, Honey offers tapas-style plates served in a cozy atmosphere.

New Hope has long been an artist hub with quirky galleries, shops, and the Bucks County Playhouse, nicknamed “America’s Most Famous Summer Theater.” It is also a celebrated LGBTQ town with regular drag brunches at local restaurants.

The town has experienced a renaissance recently, with many lovely riverfront additions such as the boutique Ghost Light Inn and its farm-to-table restaurant, Stella.

Meanwhile, The River House at Odette’s offers upscale dining and accommodations.
