The Bucks County Playhouse is offering an exciting lineup of summer educational programs at Lambertville Hall.

Bucks County Playhouse in New Hope is getting a significant boost thanks to a grant Pennsylvania Educational Tax Improvement Credit Program, writes Chloe Rabinowitz for Broadway World.

The $67,500 grant came from several local corporations, including Meridian Bank, PECO, Fred Beans Family of Dealerships, Brotherston Homecare, Sentex Settlement Services, and Megawholesale.

The Tax Credit Program rewards approved corporations and qualifying individuals with tax credits for donations to scholarship organizations, educational improvement organizations, and prekindergarten scholarship organizations.

The Playhouse acts as an educational improvement organization, partnering with regional students and school districts to deliver innovative arts education.

This includes the BOUNCE program, a theater-education residence serving 4th and 5th-grade students in the Morrisville School District.

Another program is The Playhouse Youth Company, which includes 17 young local performers.
