Beer festivals have a history of supporting local charities and the Bucks Beer Bash happening March 9th at The Fuge in Warminster is no exception.

Event host and CEO of The Fuge Sam Cravero envisioned an event that not only allows attendees to celebrate the community of local craft breweries, distilleries, and wineries but also creates a way to give back to a worthy local organization.

His event team reached out to Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) not only because of the excellent work they have done as a leader in pediatric healthcare, research, and education but because of the heartfelt stories from families whose sick children were made well through their outstanding care and treatment.

“People who live in this area are so lucky to have an incredible world renown resource like CHOP available to families who need their special care, it was a clear choice for us to invite them to be our charitable partner,” says Cravero. The Beer Bash has pledged that a portion of proceeds from the event will benefit CHOP and even structured the Bash format to help maximize that contribution.

But Cravero wasn’t the only one who felt the need to help, Newtown-based Inspire Federal Credit Union agreed to be the title sponsor of the Beer Bash and, in turn, recently donated $3,000 to CHOP as part of their involvement with the event.

The Bucks Beer Bash, sponsored by Inspire FCU, will feature over 30 breweries, wineries and distilleries as well as music, food and other fun activities.
