Bensalem-based Philly Pretzel Factory will be merging with the Pretzel Pretzel chain shortly, and several locations will be available for franchising, writes Jessica Rogen for the Riverfront Times.

The three Pretzel Pretzel locations will go up for sale almost as soon as the company has acquired the Philly Pretzel Factory.

St. Louis’ Pretzel Pretzel is known for making some of the best soft pretzels in the region and wider. They are pillow-soft, the perfect shade of golden, and sprinkled with just the right amount of salt.

The Philly Pretzel Factory has possibly decided to join forces with Pretzel Pretzel because both shape their goods in the Philly pretzel style, the long eight figure baked packed together on a tray.

The new owners of one of the three locations can use whichever name they want for their shop.

“You have the option to continue to operate as a Pretzel Pretzel, or you have the option to join the Philly Pretzel Factory franchise system and become part of the Philly Pretzel Factory franchise family or you can join the Pretzel Boy’s,” wrote the company. “Your options are open!”
