Four Bucks County Girls Basketball Stars Nominated for McDonald’s All-American Games

Four girls basketball players from Bucks County have been nominated for the 2024 McDonald's All-American Games, including Lola Ibarrando.

Four girls basketball players from Bucks County have been nominated for the 2024 McDonald’s All-American Games, a prestigious showcase game that features the country’s top high school seniors, writes Melissa Hanejko for the Bucks County Courier Times.

The game will take place on April 2 at the Toyota Center in Houston. The McDonald’s All-American Games Selection Committee will announce the 48 players selected for the boys’ and girls’ Games final rosters on January 24.

Amber Howard of Bensalem High School is an A&T State University commit and one of Suburban One League’s top scorers. Howard managed to reach double-digit points in every game this season.

Lola Ibarrondo of Neshaminy High School is a force to be reckoned with both in offense and defense. She is second in scoring for her team and she leads in assists and steals.

Ava Renninger of Archbishop Wood High School is a Farleigh Dickinson commit who is leading her team in scoring and is also one of the team’s leading rebounders.

Reese Zemitis, the Neshaminy High School forward and Bucknell University commit, averages 20 points per game. She also surpassed 1,000 career points this season.
