Travel + Leisure Highlights Two Lancaster County Hotels as Must-Visit Destinations in Pennsylvania
Two Lancaster County hotels are being recognized by Travel + Leisure as the top 15 weekend getaways in The Keystone State, according to an article by Lauren Dana Ellman.
The Cork Factory Hotel in Lancaster ranked ninth due to its 19th-century industrial brick architecture and minimalist interiors. The repurposed buildings, once belonging to the Armstrong Cork Company, have exposed brick, mimicking the property’s facade.
Guests can enjoy a full-service dinner at Cork & Cap or grab a drink at the bar. The boutique hotel also doubles as a wedding venue and has an outdoor patio.
The Wilbur Lititz earned first place on the list. The Wilbur chocolate factory, now a hotel, is a noteworthy spot with industrial-chic design. Guests can still visit the remnants of the hotel’s past at the Wilbur Chocolate Museum. It’s a ten-minute drive from the Wolf Sanctuary of PA.
