Actress Julianne Nicholson said she would reprise her role in Mare of Easttown if Kate Winslet, Jean Smart and the original writers were also on board.

There’s at least one actress who wouldn’t hesitate to return to Mare of Easttown, writes Jack Smart for People Magazine.

Julianne Nicholson would “100 percent” reprise her character and rejoin Kate Winslet and Jean Smart if the original writers and cast members want to do more with the series.

“If there were one and Kate still was Mare and Jean [Smart] was her mom and Brad wrote it,” she said.

Nicholason won an Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actress for her work in the HBO series.

“I’m definitely not waiting for it,” she added. “I’m not losing sleep over it. But if that was happening and I was invited to join, yeah, definitely.”

Mare of Easttown is the story of a small-town murder investigation with the town closely resembling parts of Delaware County.

Screenwriter and creator of the series Brad Ingelsby was a student at Archbishop Carroll High School in Radnor and graduated from Villanova University. Now living in Berwyn, Chester County, he’s the son of former Villanova basketball star Tom Ingelsby.

The award-winning Mare of Easttown was a 2021 sensation, bringing national acclaim to Delaware County for spotlighting the Delco vibe.
