Newtown artist Holdyn Barder is stirring up the spirit of rivalry with his new song, taking a playful jab at the Eagles’ foe.

Newtown artist Holdyn Barder is stirring up the spirit of rivalry with his new song, taking a playful jab at the Eagles’ foe, reports 6 ABC.  

The song titled “Go Birds” is a cheeky narrative about converting a Cowboys fan into an Eagles enthusiast.  

“It’s basically about a Dallas Cowboys fan who you convert to an Eagles fan, and they fall in love with you and she never goes back to Texas, and it’s the most glorious story,” Barder explained. 

Originally from Newtown and now residing in Nashville, Barder co-wrote “Go Birds” with his mom and a friend.  

According to Barder, the song has resonated with fans on Instagram

Barder, reflecting on his experience as an Eagles fan in Nashville, noted the surprising number of Eagles supporters in the country music capital.  

His song “Go Birds” celebrates this widespread fandom.
