The Fairless Hills YMCA, in collaboration with Metro Esports, is gearing up to open a new esports lounge this spring, marking a significant expansion in their gaming offerings in the Bucks and Hunterdon Counties area, writes Peg Quann for the Bucks County Courier Times.

This development comes as part of an ongoing partnership between the YMCA of Bucks and Hunterdon Counties and Metro Esports, aiming to bring cutting-edge gaming experiences to the community.

Located at 601 S. Oxford Valley Road, the lounge will be accessible to both YMCA members and non-members of all ages. The facility is set to feature state-of-the-art gaming PCs, advanced gaming consoles, and a wide array of popular esports titles, as outlined by YMCA spokesman Michael Reisman

This initiative follows the successful launch of esports lounges at the Doylestown and Warminster YMCA branches. The Doylestown facility, which opened in June 2022, already boasts a weekly footfall of approximately 300 gaming enthusiasts.

Metro Esports, known for its comprehensive gaming, virtual reality, and learning center in Warminster, also offers classes in coding, game design, robotics, and provides internship opportunities in partnership with industry leaders.
