Newtown-based CenTrak has been named “IoT Health & Wellness Company of the Year” at the 8th Annual IoT Breakthrough Awards, writes Jeff Werner for The Patch.

This recognition by IoT Breakthrough, a leading market intelligence organization, celebrates CenTrak’s substantial contributions to the global Internet-of-Things (IoT) market.

Specializing in IoT-enabled location technology solutions, CenTrak’s portfolio is designed to meet the evolving demands of healthcare professionals and their patients.

Andrew Robinson, CenTrak’s president and CEO, expressed his pride in receiving this award for the second time.

He highlighted CenTrak’s focus on improving healthcare experiences and outcomes through its Real-Time Location Systems (RTLS) offerings, like WorkflowRT, which he says significantly enhances patient care and contributes to broader healthcare goals.

CenTrak’s technology provides critical data for decision-making, improving various healthcare aspects through IoT-enabled badges and tags.

These tools assist in asset management, staff duress, nurse call automation, infection prevention, digital wayfinding, and more.
