A Bensalem truck terminal is switching ownership from Yellow Corp. to XPO Inc. following a multi-million-dollar purchase, writes Paul Schwedelson for the Philadelphia Business Journal.

Nashville-based freight company Yellow Corp. Sold the 13.3-acre property for $36.2 million amid Yellow Corp.’s Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection, which was filed back in August.

The property on State Road is just one of the 26 other properties sold to Connecticut-based XPO.

The company’s CEO Mario Harik says that this massive acquisition could create more jobs in the region and increase capacity in the freight market.
