Yardley restaurateurs Nicole and Frederick Rabena, owners of Yardley Distillery, opened their new Tex-Mex Grill in Morrisville last weekend, writes Michele Haddon for the Bucks County Courier Times.

For the new establishment, the pair combined their culinary passion with their love of craft spirits for an array of new dishes.

“At Yardley Distillery Tex-Mex Grill, we are excited to share our passion for exceptional food and handcrafted spirits with the Morrisville community,” said Nicole Rabena.

The Rabenas run their businesses under the name Yardley Restaurant Group.

“Our team has worked tirelessly to curate a menu that pays homage to the authentic tastes of Texas and Mexico while infusing the distinct character of Yardley Distillery’s craft spirits,” she added.

The new eatery can be found in the former Friendly’s building on West Trenton Avenue. Chef Hector Cuc has crafted its unique menu with all of the meals inspired by the flavors of Texas and Mexico.

Highlights include Bacon Wrapped Shrimp, Queso Burger, and Sizzlin’ Fajitas. Drinks feature Texas Paloma, made from Yardley Distillery tequila, fresh lime, grapefruit juice, club soda, and a grapefruit wedge.

There is also The Fribbletini, which combines Yardley Distillery vodka, strawberry crème, banana liquor, and toasted marshmallow.
