On December 16, 2023, a heartfelt tribute to America’s fallen soldiers unfolded at the Washington Crossing National Cemetery, reports William Thomas Cain for the Bucks County Courier Times.
This poignant event, part of the nationwide Wreaths Across America, saw numerous families, veterans, and community members gather to honor the memory of those who served.
Among those present were the Morell family, who offered prayers at the grave of Thomas Morell, a recently departed veteran. This personal moment of remembrance highlighted the event’s emotional depth, as families connected with their lost loved ones.
Unidentified visitors, including William and Mary Elentrio from Bristol, were seen respectfully viewing the tombstones, now decorated with wreaths.
