Bucks County resident Palak Patel recently released her debut cookbook, ‘The Chutney Life’, which is an homage to her Indian heritage.

Making a name for herself in the field of food blogging, Patel’s recipes have offered an array of traditional meals with a modern edge among a blend of fusion bites.  

Her new book features over 100 “easy-to-make” Indian food recipes. The Chutney Life has earned its rightful spot on the USA Today National Bestseller list, a “best seller” designation on Amazon, and a Williams Sonoma book tour.  

Her website offers an abundance of categories, including breakfast, chicken and seafood, Mexican fusion, Indian fusion, chutney and sauces.  

Patel says that The Chutney Life came out as an ode to her mother’s chutney, which is a universal condiment in her home.
