Two women entrepreneurs took the crown for Delaware Valley University’s Spark Bowl competition, according to TAPintoDoylestown.

In a “Shark Tank” style competition, judges reviewed five entrepreneurs who were selected as finalists. Each finalist worked to create a five-minute pitch with help from a student team and an advisor.

Warrington’s Samantha Myers won first place and $12,000 for her product ByeByeCry, a sound machine that relaxes colicky babies.

Having already sold over 1,100 of these machines, Myers is working on a subscription-based app that allows users to access ByeByeCry from their phones.

In second place was Rochelle Berg, who raked in a $6,000 prize for Living Smart Granola, a vegan, nut, and gluten-free granola.

Berg expects to see her sales double in 2024 and Myers is expecting to reach a total of $1.5 million in net sales in three years.
