Home prices in the country are continuing to skyrocket with limited supply, and Bucks County is no exception.

Home prices in the country are continuing to skyrocket, and Bucks County is no exception, according to a report by Andrew Van Dam for The Washington Post.

However, despite peak highs in home prices, there is a record low of available homes nationwide. Some states have seen more units permitted per 100,000 residents.

According to data from the Census Bureau’s Building Permits Survey, 15 units on average are permitted monthly per 100,000 residents in Pennsylvania.

The Keystone State has seen a home value change of 34 percent since February 2020 and an average home price of $256,703 this October.

For Bucks County, an average of 10.95 building permits a month are issued for every 100,000 residents, and 69.3 units a month are built. The permits include an average of 6.90 for single-family homes and 3.85 for multifamily homes.
