Brunch has always been one of the most favorite meals for many Philadelphians, so it is no wonder that the city has plenty of excellent spots where you can enjoy a great one, write Jason Sheehan and Maddy Sweitzer-Lammé for the Philadelphia Magazine.

Middle Child Clubhouse in Fishtown has been transformed into one of the city’s best breakfast and lunch destinations by Edwin De La Rosa, the executive chef of A.M. service at the restaurant. In addition to the beloved breakfast sandwich, you can now also enjoy a burrito stuffed with pastrami and one of the best pancakes in Philadelphia, among other offerings.

K’Far Cafe in Center City is another great spot that has amazing stretched-out bagels, rugelach, babkas, and borekas.

Among the new additions is High Street in Washington Square West, which offers elevated takes on brunch classics, such as the einkorn sourdough waffle topped with an orange-blossom butter and malted maple syrup.

Meanwhile, Fiore in Kensington has all you need for the perfect brunch, including excellent egg sandwiches on house-made focaccia and English muffins.

Tela’s Market is a market where you can pick up locally-sourced supplies for cooking your own meals.

Those are just some of the many solid brunch spot options across Philadelphia.
