Neshaminy Mall is among the Bucks County area shopping centers going above and beyond this year to bring up annual visits during Black Friday, writes James McGinnis for the Bucks County Courier Times.

According to Placer.ai, Neshaminy Mall saw a 7.4 percent year-over-year drop in visits.

Neshaminy Mall’s assessed property value dropped 42 percent since 2020. To increase traffic, the Bensalem shopping center will have extended hours through Dec. 25, and set aside two nights for pet pictures with Santa.

Langhorne’s Oxford Valley Mall is also offering a pet photo day with Santa on Dec. 10. According to Simon Properties, the mall is 80 percent occupied.

Willow Grove Park Mall has an abundance of events lined up this holiday season. The premier event is scheduled for Nov. 27, with yet another pet portrait with Santa day, this time with caricatures. The portrait days are also scheduled for Dec. 4 and Dec. 11

Free hot chocolate will be given out at the mall on Dec. 16 from 11 AM to 1 PM. To support local businesses, there will be “Buy Local, Buy Black” holiday pop-up shops.
