Artifact Brewing, the popular Hatboro brewery, is getting ready to open its second location in Doylestown, in the old Fine Wine & Good Spirits space, writes Michele Haddon for the Bucks County Courier Times.

Despite opening just at the outset of the pandemic, Artifact Brewing founders Ryan McKinney and Matt Brzowski managed to grow their following to a point where demand outpaced production. This success prompted them to bring Dan Richards on board as a third partner to better position the brewery for expansion.

McKinney, a Doylestown native, is happy to be opening their first outpost in his hometown.

“I’m excited to get back into Doylestown and back to my roots, and to catch up on everything I’ve missed since moving to Horsham and to share my love of craft beer with the town and all my friends,” he said.

The owners are aiming for an early 2024 opening. Their main goal is to create an inviting space where everybody will be able to relax.

“I want lawyers to be able to come and enjoy a pint after a trial, and a local artist to feel just as comfortable sitting next to that person,” he said.
