Stacker used Niche data to compile a list of the best counties to raise a family in the Keystone State. The counties were ranked based on a variety of factors such as cost of living, health care, schools, recreation, and weather.

Bucks County ranked as the fifth out of all the best counties to raise a family in the state.

The county with a population of 643,872 has a median home value of $351,700 and a median rent of $1,323. Around 78 percent of the population own their homes while 22 percent rent.

The median household income in the county is $99,302.

Bucks County boasts some of the best public and private schools in the region and the state, such as Central Bucks High School – East, Central Bucks High School – West, George School, and Solebury School.

The top places to live in the county are Buckingham Township, Warwick Township, and Newtown.
