Asad’s Hot Chicken in Bensalem is being lauded by Philadelphia Magazine’s Philly 15, a list that showcases the best new food venues in the Philadelphia region.  

Stepping in the legendary footsteps of Northeast Philly’s Asad’s on Cottman, the Bensalem spot is serving up smoky halal chicken meals, write Kae Leni Palmisano and Jason Sheehan for the Philadelphia Magazine.  

The flaming hot chicken sliders are a staple for this no-frills fast-food establishment that values high quality fried chicken. And it’s cheap, with meals costing around $10 per person.  

The founder, Philly native Asad Khan, has always had a passion for food. He aims to always evolve his hand-crafted menu through experimenting with new flavors and recipes.  

In addition to sliders, tenders, and fries, the establishment also offers smoothies.
